Hello Friends!

I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas with your families , I sure did. We ate and ate and played games and ate more .... Yikes it was bad. But overall, it was a great time. After Christmas I took two of my nieces to the mall, I wasn't looking for anything In particular. But If I liked something I picked it up, so that's what I did.

I have to confess that I have a new obsession with bows, I just think they are girly and super cute. So Forever XXI had some items and I had to get them.

The next pics are random items I loved and wanted to get.

Flower cosmetic bag $6.80 perfect for spring , hair bands $1.00 , lip gloss bear $3.80 , leather bow for hair $ 2.80 ,  black and gold bow braclet $ 4.80

Michael Kors wallet / wristlet @ Michael Kors.  Great bargain. Original $99.00 sale price $49 w an additional 25% off so it was $39 final price. 😳😬 was super excited.

We Welcome October! Plum Lips

Hi! Dolls

I hope everyone is having a great first day of October, in Florida we are so feeling the breeze and it's mid 80's. Ok! 80's is a bit hot but, we will take it. To honor fall, I wore this beautiful Jcrew scarf and a new lip color for fall.

Let me say, that I'm loving going into fall with a dark lip.  This purple lip color for me is the perfect shade for olive tone complexion, but I think you light skin beauties can pull it off as well.  So a must have this fall is a dark lip. So try it out.

Walgreens Sale! Wet & Wild by Fergie

Hi! Ladies

Hope everyone had a great weekend, I myself took a random trip to Miami just to hang out and do some unplanned shopping. It was a pleasant trip I purchased a few things that I will feature in another blog. But today, just wanted to share these pretty lipstick from Fergie by Wet & Wild. Walgreens was having 25% off , so I got then for $2.99 or something. So I purchased 3 colors. They will be featured later on.

I've been meaning to try the products and maybe I will do a review on the few things I've purchased. But in the mean time , this lip color is so pretty. Fall is coming and I know everyone will start wearing dark lipsticks, but this girl will still rock pink.

Well loves ,have a great day

We are going on a Cruise!!!! / What should you pack......

This weekend we are going on a family / friends cruise to celebrate my niece Marielly's 15th B-day we are having come from PA, Florida to join us. So excited that it's my first cruise and I get to share it with my family and friends. Now the million dollar question is what do I wear, so here are some ideas of what to pack. Here are some imagines,  I found,  note that 1/2 of what you will take you will probably not use. So the trick is to mix and match. For cabin space, think  hanging objects just like this one.  Can't wait to share pictures with you all, posting later on what I'm taking to the cruise.

Don't forget to check out the website dedicated to my niece and post birthday wishes:

Other things not to forget:
Camera
Batteries
Gum
sunblock or sun tan
flip flops
Passport

Cruise Packing List

This packing list is based on what I would take for a week long cruise in a warm climate:
1. Three sundresses that can be worn both for casual dinner and during the day
2. Two pairs of shorts for daytime – one denim and one classic
3. Three tank tops for daytime – solid colours
4. One smart-casual skirt that can be worn for casual dinner and by day
5. One long sleeve shirt of light material
6. One tunic – perfect for relaxing by the pool on board or by the beach ashore
7. One light jacket
8. Two bathing suits
9. A Little Black Dress – this never goes wrong for evening wear and would be perfect to for a smart-casual dinner
10. One cocktail dress – cocktail dresses can be a little more fun than formal gowns but are still suitable for formal dinner.
11. One formal gown – a full length gown in a solid colour always looks beautiful. Opt for classic elegance and it’ll never go out of style.
12. One pair of fancy heels – stick to a neutral colour that will match multiple outfits
13. One pair of nice sandals – perfect for smart-casual evenings
14. One pair of tennis shoes or any comfortable walking shoes
15. Complimentary jewellery and bag to match your formal outfits, as well as a practical bag for daytime

OOTD: Sexy Sandals and Stripes Shoemint & OldNavy

Hi! Friends , I know I haven't posted in about 2 weeks but I've been kinda busy at work and also tired. But no excuses, so today I wanted to show you how I paired my new sexy spring and summer sandals. I have to say that these baby have a special place in my closet room, they deserve the spot light.

Shoemint takes credit this time for these beauties, for those who don't know what shoemint is you can click on this link and it will take you to the site ShoeMint. Now a quick summary, just like other sites that you take a quiz and you get monthly styles loaded to your showroom and you get to shop. These are the pros and cons :

  • The price point might not be for everyone, like Shoedazzle the prices area bit high to buy all the time.
  • No monthly skip membership, so you shop whenever you can
  • The quality is nice, you might pay a bit more but it's worth the money.
  • You find unique items, it's good for shopping for out of the box items like my shoes

So these shoes were a splurge for me for sure, but I've been wanting a pair of gladiator inspired heel, so being that I've been a member for a while I used my first discount purchase coupon of 20% off.

So this being said, I love my shoes for sure.

Outfit Summary:

Old Navy skirt and necklace , h&m tank , XXI cardigan and belt

Now getting dressed is so much fun, because I like to take a little risk. I paired a polka dot belt with a stripe skirt. We are told these are fashion no no but who says lol. Fashion is all about risks. So step out this weekend with an item that's totally a fashion risk.
Hugs xo Yarimar

DIY Claw Nails

Hello! Friends

I hope everyone is having a great Sunday so far, I'm just relaxing and catching up on some much needed rest. Now, this weekend I hung out with my fam and BFF joined me at the mall. Doing a bit of shopping we stopped at our favorite store Aldo, and of course we bought some cute girly flats that I can't wait to get. Now, this nice girl helped us, and I noticed how cute were her nails.

Now let me just say, that I wasn't a huge fan of this new claw nail trend. For me, all the once I've seen look horrible and over the top. But to each it's own right? Anyways, but this girls nails totally changed my mind. So, I got the idea to try it myself. Now, I wasn't going to spend $40.00 in a nail salon so I took matters into my own hands.

I went to CVS and I got the following nails, the rest of the items I already had but you can purchase this at CVS or any were they sell nail products. These were the steps to get this look, took me like an hour or so. Well loves I hope you enjoy this DIY, tag me pics if you try it out.

Materials:

Kiss Nails:$7.99 oval full nail cover, Nicole OPI (kardashian Kim-Pletely in Love), Sally Hansen INSTA DRI, nail file, any nail art

STEPS:

  1. Take nail box and find the perfect size of nails for your finger type ( lay them out)
  2. Follow directions on using the glue and apply
  3. When done take nail file and start shaping the nails ( this part is really important take your time)
  4. When your nails have the shape you want, paint them ( 2 coats). Wait 2 minutes apply INSTA DRI on all nails , leave the nail that the stones will go on last
  5. Pre select what design or stones you will use and lay them out
  6. Apply INSTA DRI on the nail, take the end of the stick and dip it a bit in the clear nail polish so the rhinestones can be picked up and applied to the nail
  7. When done apply one top coat of clear INSTA DRI and your done

OOTDW: Week outfits 4/18

Happy Friday to all! Wow, what a crazy busy week if you had one of those weeks were sitting in the sofa is a dream. Well that's me right now, it's Friday and I just want to chill.

Anyways this was a pretty good week when it comes to outfits I think, I was on a fashion roll. So here are some of the outfits.

Tuesday: White dress w gold chain ( Ross), Grey heels , ring premier designs. I hardly wear dresses to work, but it was a dress kinda day.

Wednesday : Colorful day , yellow and aqua have to be one of my favorite this spring. Yellow shirt ( gift from mom) , black vest XXI, Pants JcP Outlet in PA, necklace flea market shop, bangles Bealls.

So two things about bargain shopping these pants have to be the most expensive pair I own lol. NOT! :0) when I say a bargains this was one, they were $1.99. Yes! Can you believe that , well the saver in me I got them in 3 colors. Why not! Now jewerly , flea markets are a good place to get some cute things as well. I happen to go and saw this necklace for $6.00, as you might know bubble necklaces are popular and expensive. So I jumped at the chance.

Friday : Rocking kinda day. Star pants, black tank , beige shirt ( Bealls) , cross necklace (XXI) , boots Shoedazzle

Well friends I hope you enjoyed the outfits, remember fashion is your form of expression. So rock on fashion sisters.

Have a great weekend
