Those of you who give are already part of these relief efforts, and we’re committed to giving over half a million dollars to our Outreach partners as they mobilize and meet needs in the wake of this disaster. Partners like Samaritan’s Purse, Convoy of Hope, God’s Pit Crew, and Water Mission have been on the ground coordinating volunteers, distributing supplies, and meeting the practical needs of people impacted by the storm. In addition to financial support and volunteers, this weekend, we want to have the largest winter clothing drive in church history. Temperatures in the mountain areas affected by Hurricane Helene will begin to drop, leaving those who have already lost so much without ways to stay warm. So, as a church, we’re partnering with Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Helio, Affordable Senior Housing Foundation, and the National Guard to begin airdropping winter clothing items and supplies as early as tomorrow. Here are two ways you can help: First, continue giving. Because of your generosity, we were able to respond and support our partners quickly. We didn’t need to wait. We could help right away. Your consistency makes this possible. Second, we know those of you who aren’t local may still want to support the clothing drive. So, we’ve made an Amazon registry that you can order from and ship directly to us. You can order items and have them shipped through the end of the day on Monday.
